8th Annual Band Director Clinic

This year’s Phi Beta Mu Band Clinic will be held at the Creative Arts Center, on the Evansdale Campus of West Virginia University starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5.

The Clinic remains a true bargain for quality professional development at only $25 ($10 for Music Education Students) for attendance. 

The schedule at this point is:

8am - 9am:    Registration / Check-in

9am - 9:55am:   Dr. Timothy DeWitt(Brass)

                         Dr. Jared Sims (Jazz)
                         Mr. George S Kerr (Repairs)

10am - 10:55am:  Mr. Mark Hardman and the

George Washington HS Concert Band (conducting and rehearsal techniques)


11am - 11:55am:  Mr. Craig Lee (Percussion)
                         Mr. George S Kerr (Repairs)
                         (Woodwind Clinic TBA)

Noon - 1:30pm: Lunch (on your own)

1:30pm - 4:00pm:  Mr. Samuel R Hazo (Conductor, Composer, and Arranger)
                              Reading Band



The 8th Annual WV Band Director Clinic sponsored by Phi Beta Mu and the WVBA will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at the WVU Creative Arts Center.

 

The 2018 WVMEA Conference will be held March 8-10, 2018 in Charleston.
